Im 21 shes 26. i like her alot?

so i have been hanging out with this girl who is older than me. we text every day and we flirt alot. she fishes for things, such as me liking her. i admitted that i did. she retorted with the fact that she dated my friend, which ended badly, she doesnt want to be a "homie hoe" she says im great and its a complicated situation. does she like me? and how do i tell? is there anything i can do to get past this problem? i like her and shes really great but i dont want to cause any problems and lose her as a friend. thanks for the help
