From experience... you don't stay super close with anyone after high school. You will still talk to friends and all but as you go on in life, you will find more friends and even that one best friend you're hoping for. I still talk to friends from high school and still hang out with them but I only have one best friend. I was lucky and found her in high school and she went to the same college as me. But I have a friend who made his best friend in college too. Sometimes you have more than one best friend. And it's okay to not have to rely so much on one person because as you grow as friends, you will still be there for each other but you will also be really focussed on your own life. Just keep having fun with the friends you have and things will fall into place eventually. I'm sure you can count on a lot more people than you think. You may just feel like you can't for whatever reason.

Ask your friends to be respectful enough to not play inappropriate music around him. I have a similar problem. My husband has been private messaging a women on Facebook. I have read a few of the messages. Nothing they say would lead me to believe he is having an affair. Hi fellow seniors, are you fitter now than when you were in your twenties?

I do have more fits, but not more fit. All the aches and pains I had in my youth have multiplied. I used to work out at two different gyms up to a couple of years ago because of my arthritis and degenerative discs I can no longer do that. I do more than average exercise for my age because of all of the animals I have rescued along with stretching exercises I can do at home. I fear if I don't I may find soon I won't be able to move at all. With age comes health issues to many of us even though we have always eaten properly and tried our best to stay fit.

Shelter euthanizes healthy and perfectly normal dogs only because they cannot find a home fast enough. If the dog is not adopted in 40 day period, then he is put to sleep. These are healthy and young dogs who are just 1 to 2 years old. They have barely come on earth and their existence is ceased without them even knowing it and without even being asked. 5 lovely and sweet pit bulls were put to sleep in my shelter because they could not get adopted in 40 days. I was interested in one of them. And by the time I planned to visit the shelter to get a 2 year old pitt bull boy, I learned he was already euthanized. I felt very bad and disgusted for such an innocent life to have been taken away due to lack of patience.

I'm too afraid to run away from home but I want to?

So for the past while I've been thinking of running away from home. I'm planning on leaving as soon as possible. However I have already attempted to leave twice and something stopped me both times. I hate my parents and entire family. I don't have many friends that I actually like and trust (I only have 3). My parents aren't abusing me so don't waste your time telling me to call some place if they are. They are just WAAAAAY to restrictive and are horrible parents considering everyone I knows parents. By the way I'm 15. I don't drink, smoke, or do any drugs so there's really no reason my parents should watch over me like a newborn baby. I have a bed time of 10:00 EVERY NIGHT. I'm only allowed 1 can of pop/soda per day. I'm not allowed to have a girlfriend. I'm not allowed to have a lighter (I like fire.) I'm not even allowed to keep a bullet just for fun and nobody in my family has a gun. I have two folding knives and one 12 inch baton hidden in my room so that my parents won't find them. They said if they ever found a weapon in my room that they would call the cops. They don't believe me about ANYTHING. I'm not allowed to leave the house when my parents aren't here and they call me every hour to make sure I'm still here. If I post something (even a joke) on facebook about hurting someone or someone dead they freak out on me and get me to delete it. Car is shaking when accelerating?

This just started happening and I don't know why. When I accelerate the entire car vibrates and it ceases when I'm not accelerating. At constant speeds on smooth road it doesn't vibrate, but going up hills it does, so this tells me it is only when some torque is being applied. Engine is running great and I have brand new tires on that were balanced. My car is a 96 Dodge Intrepid 3.3L, automatic transmission.

I keep having snake dreams?

I know a lot of people have dreams with snakes. But it's like they are following me, I turn on the tv its about a snake, my friend leaves to another friends house and randomly holds a snake. I had a black one in my room the other day in the dream and woke up sweating. Then this morning I woke up from one where it was yellow and purple big mean looking one. The dream is becoming very vague, but someone did killed it then some lady I don't know put it around my dogs neck that i was walking and I'm frightened of snakes so I didn't touch it. I walked down my road and I saw a homie I haven't seen in a while that in real life I saw a picture of before I went to bed. In the dream he said it is time, god is coming soon he's returning to the earth. And I was like amen I'm glad you know, spread the word, then we walked separate ways but I kept wanting to talk to him but I was being pulled away. So I get to the front of my condo and the snake falls off my dogs neck and somehow it freezes into one position, it turned black and it was like sticking with its head up frozen. Then I woke up and freaked out. My aunt used to have snake dream, and it was the old snake from the bible and it was coming after her Kid so a little red headed girl stopped the HUGE pealing snake from taking her son.

What is the legal process for child support revisions?

i already have a child support order in place, however, i requested a review to revise the order to increase the amount of child support i recieve.(due to the fact that the original amount was based on minimum wage because he wasn't working and he now is, so there was a substantial change of income which merits the revision) The father did not attend the meeting and a new order was written but they told me it is called a "non agreed order" and that they would have to serve him this new order and give him time (20 days) to dispute it. They have been trying to serve him for about a month or two now and have been unsuccessful. i know he is intentionally avoiding being served.(ie he just won't answer the door.) Pre-employment drug screening?

Sorry, i'm sure everyone asks this, but I need to know if I will pass my drug test. So probably the last 3 weeks of April i smoked about once a day, except 4/20 when i smoked about 3 times. Anyways, May 4 was the last day i smoked for a couple weeks. One day i smoked a bit with a homie, not enough to be really high, but i was buzzing pretty good. Anyways I've been clean since then, and on 6/20 i had to take a pre-employment drug test. I'm 6'1" and about 180-185 lbs, workout 3 days a week for about 1 1/2-2 hrs each and am pretty healthy. i do eat junk food occasionally, but i have a fast metabolism and don't have very much body fat. You think i passed? and also, if i did happen to fail, when they call will they say that i failed the test or just say that i didn't get the job? just kinda worried in case the jefe or jefa answer the phone instead of me. Will i be required to pay property taxes on my home that the bank will eventually foreclose?

it is in Allentown PA. My taxes are taken out of escrow automatically by the bank. so i have no way of paying them during this time while i am in review. i have stopped paying my mortgage completely now because the bank refuses to do ANY type of a deal! Figuratively speaking, imagine if all beings capable of perceiving (viewing, smelling, touching, tasting, comprehending, processing information, etc.) were to cease to exist. "Chemical pregnancy", in pain again, very confused...?

A little over 2 weeks ago, my period had been a week late, I'd been having some funny symptoms, so I took a HPT at night that had a very clear "plus". The next morning, I woke up in a bed full of blood (very very heavy bleeding) and crippling abdominal pain. My husband wanted to take me to the hospital right then and there, but I refused for 3 more days. Finally, I went because the pain wasn't ceasing. At the hospital, they took blood and urine, did an internal exam/pap smear, gave me a external and internal ultrasound, and did a cat scan. Not only did the doctor say they could find nothing wrong, but that I was in fact in excellent health. The only idea he had was I may have experienced a "chemical" pregnancy, which is basically a very very early miscarriage some women can just mistake for a regular period, and all signs of me ever being pregnant would have been gone by the time they ran tests. The pain did eventually subside, and I felt fine last week. Yesterday though, I woke up and my breasts were very sore (I don't actually ever remember them being sore at all, ever, before, I don't get pms bad or anything), and the pain came back as I was walking to work. No bleeding this time though. I have had ovarian cysts rupture and cause similar pain before, but they found no cysts or residual fluid of a ruptured cyst when I was at the hospital, and I seriously doubt one could have grown big enough to rupture and cause immense pain in under 2 weeks. Even if it's hiding from the tests, I just know something is going wrong in my body. The pain is in the lowest part of my abdomen, and it's actually tender to touch. Since I don't feel it's an emergency, and the hospital couldn't help last time, I will be seeing my regular doctor this time. I'm just not understanding what is happening. I'm just looking for some ideas of what might be going on, so I can ask my doctor to test and eliminate it as a possibility or find what's wrong. Anyone else ever experience things like this? I'm 99.99999% sure it has something to do with my female parts malfunctioning, but past cysts or pregnancy, which have been eliminated as causes, I'm not sure what else it could be? And before anyone says it, I DO NOT have a STD (which much to my embarrassment, they routinely test for at the hospital, making me feel like a complete idiot in front of my husband).

Anyone that is white should not be saying "word homie" anyway. Apparently you like to use a lot of words, but you need to learn that some people don't have the attention to read a long message. If you have that much to say, speaking in person or on the phone might be a lot better.

What would be a good scanner if I just want to scan some photos?

I had a scanner that I rarely used, and then it just stopped working and I had the scanner in my printer, which also stopped working. How can I remove the pedals from my mountain bike?

PLEASE HELP WITH COLLEGE STUFF!?

I am trying to decide whether I should pursue the ACT or the SAT. Without any studying or anything, I got a 1720 on the SAT. Then, when I wasn't satisfied with that score, I took a 2-day princeton review master class for the SAT and the next day I got a 1910. Initially, I thought I could bring that up even more, but then I went on to try my luck with ACT and I got a 26 without any studying at all. Now I'm thinking that I may be able to bring that up more easily than the SAT. Most of the colleges I'm looking at require a 27-32 range. Any suggestions? Also, I'm interested in sports medicine, I'm pretty good at math (700 on the SAT and 32 on ACT), and I'm a black male (3.9 weighted GPA). Any college suggestions?

Is Bit Torrent illegal in Japan?

I recently received a cease and desist warning from the school that I am studying at for "use of illegal file sharing software", which I can only assume means Bit Torrent. I was using it to torrent some movies from vo.do, which is a site that hosts bit torrents for movies which have a specific licensing agreement which makes them legal to torrent. Is use of bit torrenting software illegal in Japan, or is my school just jumping the gun and assuming that I'm using it for illegitimate purposes?

Okay, let me explain . Nothing was wrong at all. And i was texting him friday night from the hospital. We were gonna make plans to hang out the next day. Hi. me and this guy used to date about 3 years ago, just recently we became reacquainted and start to talk often. he just moved into a new house and prior to him moving he kept telling me that he wanted me to decorate for him because he didn't know so, I agreed to help him and he was cool with it. The day before he moved in he kept texting me about helping him the following day. I told him I would come over as soon as I got done with my hair salon appointment and he was cool. I called him and he said his homie was helping him move but he would call me later, but he never did. The Next day or morning he calls and says he want me to come over later that day to see him. So, I called him and he was like I'm going to call you back at 6:00pm but he never did so I was like oh well. So the next day he calls me and he's like come over here to my house, so I told him that i was going to the mall and he says stop by here before you go to the mall. So I said okay but I went to the mall first. When I got to his house his brother answered the door and said he was out back. i went out there but he said his mouth was hurting really bad but he wanted me to see the house but after wards he was going to drop his friend off and come back and lay down but at the same time i feel like he was rushing me to leave. So he showed me the house. the rooms that he asked me to fix up his mom did them but I'm like why would you ask me to and then let someone else do them. I stayed about 45 minutes.And he even asked me about what paint color he should use for his living room and if I would check it out for him. I know this might Sound stupid but why would he ask me and then turn around and do something completely different.

Is it safe to change from xanex to panicyl?

i had severe anxiety attacks yesterday that ended me up in the ER, they gave me adivan(sp) there. then they prescribed xanex. however i am terrified to take the xanex because of the side effects. i really want to try panicyl because its all natural and doesnt have the harmful side effects as xanex and other anxiety meds and i have read great reviews online, would it be ok to take the small dosage (i have 8 pills) 0.5mg then stop and change to panicyl or would that cause terrible side effects?

Why does my mp3 only come out one side of my speakers in my car?

I am posing this question after hearing the Christian argument that God did not create evil, and that evil is just the "absence of God." And that humans are given "free will" otherwise we'd all be like robots created to serve God without a choice. Doesn't sound like a choice to me. Sounds like an ultimatum. God basically says "serve me or else I will banish you to fire and brimstone for ETERNITY!" In most cases humans live less than 100 years. Even if we were given a life sentence for every tiny sin we committed in our lifetime-that still would not constitute a googleplex to the googleplex power of "years" and beyond to infinity in Hell. If god is fair and just how could he do this to people who didn't agree to these terms before they were born? Why not just make us cease to exist and go about his business? Why beat a dead horse zillions of years later? Please help me understand this mess as I just can't understand how God can be "all love" when he is the one that created hell. From my perspective "it is what it is" has more or less the connotation you mention, but the piece you are missing is that it also is that people tend to romanticize or think about situations in a more favorable light than reality. Its not always about avoiding trying but sometimes about avoiding believe the situation is what it is.

A child support question?

hi, i live in west virginia. my girlfriend and i have a 1 year old son together. through the last year we have been locked in mortgage limbo on our house, therefore our addresses were listed as different. we were summoned to a child support hearing in which we were told that child support would only be taken out for 2 or 3 payments(i cant recall which it was) as backpay.and when we got our addresses straightened out to come back and let them know, at which time they would cease taking payments out of my paychecks. that was in oct 2010. about this time we moved into our new house but were still stuck in mortgage limbo, meaning i couldnt change my employment status or risk messing up the loan. here is where the fun really begins. No payments were taken out of my paychecks until dec 10, 2010. the first payment of $148 was taken out dec 10, another of the same amount was taken out on dec. 24, 2010(i get paid every 2 weeks). neither payment was sent to the child support agency until dec. 28, 2010. My girlfriend and i thought, "hey its a one time thing, no big deal, at least thats all that they will take and now its done"...we were wrong. the next paycheck had the same amount taken out and once again was not sent to the child support agency, i then started recieving letters in the mail from the child support agency stating that i was delinquent on my payments. my girlfriend and i then went to the agency this same thing occured on every paycheck for the next 2 months. payments taken out of my checks by my employer, yet not sent to the agency. after repeatedly trying to phone the agency, we finally went down to the office. while there, we were informed that it wasnt just my checks, but my employer was not sending any other employee's child support payments in either. he was apparently up to thousands of dollars behind. they had already notified him by letter. also, while at this meeting they informed us that if we wanted to end our child support case when we got the money from my employer that we could. they told us they were leaving the case open until he sent the money in, that way their lawyers could handle it and we wouldnt have to seek outside consultation. that was in february 2011. he has never gotten it caught all the way up, so we have never been able to get the case closed. now he is over $700 behind again. i ask the managers where i work about it and they tell me i have to talk to the accountants, when the child support office calls the accountant they tell them that the owner does the child support, then when they call him he becomes aggresive and profane and hangs up. these payments were supposed to stop being taken out in february and its still happening. it wouldnt be as bad if the money were being sent in, because then my girlfriend could get it and we could pay our bills with it. but that's not happening and we are falling behind on our bills and everything else and all the child support tells us is they turned it over to their attorneys and if we havent got the money in 3 weeks to come and talk to them again. i don't understand what they expect us to do. we can't tell the utility companies to wait a couple weeks can we? the main problem,as i already stated, is that these payments arent even supposed to be being taken out of my checks. what can i do about this? the child support bureau is clearly not that concerned about it and we are running out of options on our money. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My period is over two months late now and I am having the basic pregnancy symptoms: weight gain, increased discharge, constipation, exhaustion, and muscle pains. However I have taken 6 tests (2 at 1 month late, 1 a week later, and the others at different times after the 2nd month late) and they are all negative. Wouldn't that mean that I'm not pregnant? Its not terrible, there are just some problems because the technology is dated. The graphics are bad. There is no story. The load times are horrendus. You have to reload every time you die. My life is going in a downward spiral, Everything started going bad in September. First I caught a drug and gun case that's still going on. Couple weeks after that my little homie got shot and killed at 3am when his girlfriend and little sister where sleeping in the same room. October was bad too. My car got stolen, got accused by some of my "friends" of killing my other friend. After that someone shot my house up. November, I got jumped because some people thought I stole their cars. I think you were good with your dialog. She needed to have time with someone who cared, or she would not have been there for so long with you. I believe that when a girl wants to start a relationship with someone new, she must think it through, take some time to be sure she maps out the right moves toward both men.
