Is it safe to change from xanex to panicyl?

i had severe anxiety attacks yesterday that ended me up in the ER, they gave me adivan(sp) there. then they prescribed xanex. however i am terrified to take the xanex because of the side effects. i really want to try panicyl because its all natural and doesnt have the harmful side effects as xanex and other anxiety meds and i have read great reviews online, would it be ok to take the small dosage (i have 8 pills) 0.5mg then stop and change to panicyl or would that cause terrible side effects?
