Im confused on what's going on? (PLEASE HELP?)?

Okay, let me explain . Nothing was wrong at all. And i was texting him friday night from the hospital. We were gonna make plans to hang out the next day. I told him ill text him in the morning when he knows. And then said goodnight. he said goodnight too. Then the next morning at around 10 i text him and say "hey did your mom let you know?" he didnt respond. so like 45 mins after that i said lmaoo, its really hard to get you to reply to texts sometimes. he never responded. i ignored it until that night (sat night.) then i said goodnight (: which he always responds to. he didnt this time. ive been really sad all day but havent talked to him. then at about 9:30ish i sent happy easter homie. still no response. i had been trying to give him space all weekend but at this point i was just like worried. so i sent him a message on facebook saying "Okay, ive been trying to pretend like i dont care, to give you your space. But its bugging me. What's going on? are you cool? are we cool?" was it the right descision to message him? is it a bad sign that he's not replying to my texts? because i know i didnt do anything im just like.. confused.
